Airport Advisory Committee

The purpose of the committee is to obtain diverse views from the community and airport interests in airport matters affecting the community and vice versa.

Kruise for Kids

The City of Pitt Meadows Staff are participating in “Kruise for Kids” on Sunday, November 5th.

Kruise for Kids is a Toy Run benefiting the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau making Christmas a reality for children throughout the GVRD and Fraser Valley.  Many of which would not be celebrating without their assistance.  The LMCB supports over 1000 low income families every holiday season and ships over 100,000 items!

What better to place to commence the Halloween festivities than Pitt Meadows’ spookiest old buildings?  An annual event occurring on the last Sunday before Halloween, Museum After Dark is a fearfully-fun filled program for the whole family.

PM Airport - Board Meeting

The Pitt Meadows Regional Airport Board of Directors (BOD) meetings are now open for the public. The BOD meetings will be at 7pm and they are expected to take place on the fourth Wednesday of each month. The initial plan is to alternate BOD meeting locations between Pitt Meadows City Hall (12007 Harris Road) and Maple Ridge City Hall (11995 Haney Place).

Bike to Work Week is a community event to celebrate bike commuting across Metro Vancouver!

Visit over 45 Celebration Stations offering free drinks, snacks, bike mechanic services and great prizes.  Why register?  Along with winning more prizes, your logged trips help with local leaders to improve cycling infrastructure in your communities. 

Emergency Preparedness - What Seniors Need to Know

The Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, and Katzie Seniors Network is partnering with our local Fire Department and City Emergency Program staff to host an informative session to help older adults prepare themselves for a major disaster.

Seniors and individuals with physical disabilities may have special needs to consider in the event of an emergency. The best way to ensure you are able to cope is to plan ahead.  Fire fighters will provide information on fall prevention, smoke alarms and provide a tour of the Fire Hall.

Refreshments will be provided.
