To celebrate the 85th anniversary of Pitt Meadows Day in 2026, this years event theme is Blue & Gold.
This community tradition includes a pancake breakfast, parade, exhibitors, field activities, live music and entertainment, beverage garden and so much more! The day will wrap up with a live drone show. This year is going to be the best one yet! Join us at the Pitt Meadows Athletic Park (PMAP) located at 11431 Bonson Road on Saturday, June 6.

Road Closures
Please be advised that there will be road closures in effect on Saturday, June 6 for the Pitt Meadows Day parade.
Pitt Meadows Day will be taking place on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at the Pitt Meadows Athletic Park. The parade route will start on Harris Road at 119 Avenue and will end at the Pitt Meadows Athletic Park. Road closures will begin at 10 a.m. on 119 Avenue (west), and 11 a.m. on Harris Road (south of Ford Road), Hammond Road and Bonson Road South. All closures will remain in effect until the parade ends (approximately 2 p.m.). There will be no street parking on the parade route or mustering area after 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, until the parade is over.
Please plan accordingly and use alternate routes during this time. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Facility Closures
The Pitt Meadows Family Recreation Centre (PMFRC), the South Bonson Community Centre (SBCC) and the Pitt Meadows Art Gallery will be CLOSED on Saturday, June 6. Our staff will be assisting at the event celebrations. For PMFRC hours of operation visit pittmeadows.ca/reccentrehours, for SBCC and gallery hours visit pittmeadows.ca/SBCC.
Safety Reminders:
We have some reminders leading up to event day so everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Pitt Meadows Day is planned in consultation with RCMP and the Pitt Meadows Fire and Rescue.
- ️For safety, parents are asked to keep children off the road during the parade.
- Please do not bring water balloons to the parade. They pose a risk to those with mobility issues, can cause injuries and are harmful to the environment. While fun at backyard events, only water guns are allowed at the parade.
- Bag checks will be in place at the event entrance.
- Expect increased security and RCMP presence throughout the event.
- Additional lighting will be provided for better visibility in the evening.
- Please be prepared for all kinds of weather—sun or rain.

General Rules:
We are here for some family friendly fun but we do have some rules.
- No smoking or vaping permitted.
- Outside alcohol is not permitted.
- Drugs and weapons (including pepper or bear spray) are not permitted. Anyone found with these items will be removed from the property and will not be allowed to re-enter.
- Alcohol can only be consumed within the licensed area – no alcohol outside the beverage garden.
- Beverage servers reserve the right of refusal at all times.
- Please be respectful to others, clean up after yourself and use the garbage bins provided.
- Dogs must be on leash at all times. Please clean up after your dog.
- If patrons fail to comply with rules or display bad behaviour, they will be asked to leave and not be allowed to re-enter.

Tin Lizzy Concessions organizes and supports food vendor service at Pitt Meadows Day, offering mini donuts, grilled cheese, poutine and family-friendly food truck catering for events in Pitt Meadows and Metro Vancouver.

The parade will start at 12:00 p.m. on Harris Road at 119 Avenue and continue southbound to Hammond Road, then head eastbound on Hammond to Bonson Road and end as it passes Joyner Place.

Starting with Pitt Meadows Day, the Youth Ambassadors will participate in the parade, opening ceremony and enjoy a special luncheon. Throughout the year, the Youth Ambassadors will have the opportunity to give back to their community by participating in a variety of City events.
Youth Ambassador roles include the Pitt Meadows Ambassador (Grade 6), Senior Ambassadors (Medallion Bearer & Record Bearer on Pitt meadows Day) (Grade 5), Junior Ambassadors (Flag Bearer on Pitt Meadows Day) (Grade 4), and Mini Ambassadors (Flower Attendants on Pitt Meadows Day) (Grades 1-3).
