CANCELLED - Summer Serenade 2019

Unfortunately, tonight's Summer Serenade outdoor concert is CANCELLED due to the rain. We still have five more concerts planned for the summer (every Wednesday night at 7pm). We hope to see you for next week's performance on July 24th.

Join us every Wednesday night in Spirit Square from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. for an evening of big band music and dancing.  From July 3 - August 21st, Pitt Meadows' own, Bruce James Orchestra, will entertain the audience during this FREE concert series.

8th Bees and Blueberries Festival

This free, non-profit event celebrates the importance of bees and taking care of the environment. There will be a variety of family-friendly activities such as free guided tours, a blueberry pie eating contest, bee-friendly planting corner, and more! There will also be an exciting lineup of performers and local favorites, including Dilly the clown, Norden the Magician, and our live bee beard performance! The festival supports the Ridge Meadows Hospital foundation and a portion of our store sales will be donated.

Board of Variance Focus

The board of variance focuses primarily on hardship relating to matters such as siting, dimensions and size of buildings.  A board of variance order cannot conflict with Land Title Act covenants or deal with matters in land use permits, land use contracts, floodplain bylaw specifications or phased development agreements.

Please join Mayor and Council at this re-scheduled Engagement and Priorities Committee Meeting (previously postponed from May 14, 2019) to learn more about the potential opportunities of the various development scenarios in Pitt Meadows.  CitySpaces will be returning and providing updates to residential development scenarios and potential alternatives for future growth.

The community will have an opportunity to address Council in an informal setting promoting two-way dialogue.
