CANCELLED - It's a Small World: Multicultural Storytime

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances the "It's a Small World" Multicultural Storytime at the Pitt Meadows Public Library has been cancelled. The Libraryremains open for regular hours and service.

FREE Intro to NEPP Workshop

Over the next year a series of Neighbourhood Emergency Preparedness Program (NEPP) workshops are being offered free to the public. These workshops will equip citizens with the necessary information so that they can plan ahead and take care of themselves and their neighbours during a catastrophic event. It is recommending that people attend the Intro to NEPP before taking any of the other workshops.

Pitt Meadows Road and Rail Improvements Open House

The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority wants to hear from you! The first phase of public engagement for the Pitt Meadows Road and Rail Improvements Project begins at the end of October.

Attend the Open House on Wednesday, October 30 at the Heritage Hall (12460 Harris Rd, Pitt Meadows) from 4 to 8pm.

Richard “The King” Brodeur

Pitt Meadows Art Gallery is excited to welcome art pieces by legendary Vancouver Canucks Goalie Richard “The King” Brodeur. Brodeur utilizes oils, acrylics, and watercolors to create abstract paintings as well as images of Canadiana landscape. His most popular series is a collection of paintings titled "My childhood Hockey Memories” which depicts youngsters playing hockey on frozen ponds, backyard rinks, streets and back alleys all over Canada.

Parkinson SuperWalk

Participate in this year's SuperWalk!

"Parkinson SuperWalk is the largest and most important provincial and national awareness and fundraising event for Parkinson Society British Columbia and the event licensor, Parkinson Canada. Communities across the country will organize walks on the weekend of September 7 & 8 to raise funds for critical programs, support services, advocacy efforts, and contributions to research.

Live Carving Demonstration

Patrick Sephani, one of the Zimbabwe artists whose work is currently on exhibit at the Pitt Meadows Art Gallery, will be carving a new creation out of serpentine stone on Saturday August 31 from 12-2pm. Please stop by and check it out as well as all the amazing work of ZimCarvings!

Summer Serenade 2019

Due to a number of Summer Serenade Concerts being cancelled this year due to rain, we have added another performance on Wednesday, August 28th in Spirit Square from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. In the event of rain, the performance will be held at Heritage Hall.

Due to rain in the forcast, the summer serendade concert is cancelled for August 21. We have added another show  for Wednesday, August 28. I

Join us every Wednesday night in Spirit Square from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. for an evening of big band music and dancing.  From July 3 - August 21st, Pitt Meadows' own, Bruce James Orchestra, will entertain the audience during this FREE concert series. As the concerts are outdoors, they are weather dependent. Stay tuned for updates to our celendar and social media sites.
