Engagement & Priorities Committee: Farming, Diking, Watercourses and Wetlands in Pitt Meadows

Please join Mayor and Council at our Engagement and Priorities Committee Meeting to learn more about how the City can support farming, diking and sustainable watercourses in Pitt Meadows.

Several delegations will be in attendance.

The community will have an opportunity to address Council. A total of 30 minutes is set aside for two-way dialogue with Council.

Active Transportation Advisory Committee - Special Meeting

The Active Transportation Advisory Committee advises Council and staff on strategic priorities and policies relating to active transportation in Pitt Meadows.

Topic: The OCP and 2019 Transportation Plan

Free NEPP Workshop: Rapid Damage Assessment

Over the next year a series of Neighbourhood Emergency Preparedness Program (NEPP) workshops are being offered free to the public. These workshops will equip citizens with the necessary information so that they can plan ahead and take care of themselves and their neighbours during a catastrophic event. It is recommending that people attend the Into to NEPP before taking any of the other workshops.

Children & Youth Art Exhibit Opening Reception

The Pitt Meadows Art Gallery is proud to showcase the amazing work of young artists and their exploration of a variety of themes and art mediums. The Children & Youth Art Exhibition runs until July 14 and features artwork created by local children and youth between the ages of 4-18.

Advisory Design Panel

The Advisory Design Panel provides professional and lay advice on matters related to the evaluation of the design and construction of buildings and other developments within the City of Pitt Meadows.

Date: Meetings are held monthly or as business needs arise

Public Works Week: Tree Planting Event

Community Tree Planting at Harris Road Park on May 22 from 8am-11am for Public Works Week (May 19 - 25)! Join crews starting at 8am at the north field/ baseball diamond to begin filling the newly planted specimen trees. Bring your own gloves and boots (shovels provided). As part of BC Hydro's Community Regreening Project, the City received a $5,000 grant for the planting of 17 evergreen trees along at Harris Road Park.
