The board of variance focuses primarily on hardship relating to matters such as siting, dimensions and size of buildings.  A board of variance order cannot conflict with Land Title Act covenants or deal with matters in land use permits, land use contracts, floodplain bylaw specifications or phased development agreements.

Engagement & Priorities Committee: Farming, Diking, Watercourses and Wetlands in Pitt Meadows

Several delegations will be in attendance.

The community will have an opportunity to address Council. A total of 30 minutes is set aside for two-way dialogue with Council.

Active Transportation Advisory Committee - Special Meeting

The Active Transportation Advisory Committee advises Council and staff on strategic priorities and policies relating to active transportation in Pitt Meadows.

Topic: The OCP and 2019 Transportation Plan

Free NEPP Workshop: Rapid Damage Assessment

Over the next year a series of Neighbourhood Emergency Preparedness Program (NEPP) workshops are being offered free to the public. These workshops will equip citizens with the necessary information so that they can plan ahead and take care of themselves and their neighbours during a catastrophic event. It is recommending that people attend the Into to NEPP before taking any of the other workshops.

Children & Youth Art Exhibit Opening Reception

The Pitt Meadows Art Gallery is proud to showcase the amazing work of young artists and their exploration of a variety of themes and art mediums. The Children & Youth Art Exhibition runs until July 14 and features artwork created by local children and youth between the ages of 4-18.

Come and be inspired by the art created by our children and youth.
