Over the next year a series of Neighbourhood Emergency Preparedness Program (NEPP) workshops are being offered free to the public. These workshops will equip citizens with the necessary information so that they can plan ahead and take care of themselves and their neighbours during a catastrophic event. It is recommending that people attend the Into to NEPP before taking any of the other workshops.

Governance & Priorities Committee Meeting

The new Committee structure utilizes an oversight committee which brings Council and the community together by facilitating two-way dialogue. The new structure provides an opportunity for committees to bring priority items before Council in a less traditional, rigid and formal Council setting.

Governance & Priorities Committee meetings will be held in the Meadows Room at City Hall, 12007 Harris Road.

Drag Show 2019

The Drag Show is an annual fundraiser for Alouette Addictions Services. It is an evening of fabulous entertainment, socializing and shopping; all for a good cause. The pre-show buffet dinner starts at 5:30pm and at 7:30 the doors open for the show!

Pitt Meadows Regional Airport New Development Information Session

The Pitt Meadows Regional Airport (YPK) will be hosting a New Development Information Session open to the general public on Wednesday, February 27, 7 p.m. at Sky Helicopters (170-18799 Airport Way, Pitt Meadows). Suburban Swing

The City is happy to partner with Suburban Swing; Western Canada's oldest and largest swing dance club.  Specializing in East Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, and Balboa. 

Regardless of your skill level, stop by and learn a move or two then take the floor and dance the evening away.

Beginner Lindy Hop series - drop-in lessons from 6:00pm - 7:00pm

Social dancing 7:30pm - 10:00pm

Tickets sold at the door. 

$9.50 for Adults | $8.50 for Students 

The 2019 Rock & Gem Show

Come out to see all the displays of rocks, minerals and gems natural, sliced, thru polished and what can be made with them. Fun for the whole family. Spin n Win, make a rock craft, try polishing a stone. Take part in an Auction, with special ones just for kids. Buy a geode and have it cut open to see the treasure inside, watch demonstrations of carving and many aspects of jewelry making.

2 levels full, many vendors minerals from around the world.

You will find that everyone working at the show enjoys sharing information all about rocks.

Ridge Meadows Seniors Society members will be showcasing their artistic talent on the Family Day long weekend!
