Let it snow! – A little snowman friend with snow! This kit lets you make a little snowman shaker, let it snow all around your little snowman. Much easier than getting wet and cold making one outside, and best part this one lasts all year!

Business Planning Presentations - Day 2

Each fall, City departmental business plans for the following year are developed and presented to Council and the community. These are based on robust financial planning and analysis, staff input, Council direction and resident feedback heard throughout the year. The plans represent recommendations for key initiatives, budgets, and the Five-Year Financial Plan. This process provides an additional transparency and accountability to enable the community to better understand City priorities and the budgeting process.

I’ll be home for the holidays – Grab a little putz house and all the decorations and decorate your little house for the holiday! Create your house however you want, decorate it red, blue, green, add sparkles, add decorations, it’s all up to you!

Deck the Halls - Drop on by the Museum during our open hours to help decorate the museum, listen to holiday songs, and start feeling the holiday magic! Help make our pomander and string a popcorn string! There will be a small craft on the table in the main gallery.

The Parks, Recreation and Culture Advisory Committee

The Parks, Recreation and Culture Advisory Committee was formed in 2021 to provide feedback and recommendations to staff on emerging community needs related to parks, recreation, and culture which work towards enhancing cultural diversity, inculusion, arts and sport tourism in the community for future consideration by Council.

Pitt Meadows Day Advisory Committee

The Pitt Meadows Day Advisory Committee provides support to the City with the planning and execution of the annual Pitt Meadows Day event. This signature event provides an opportunity for residents to gather, connect and celebrate the vibrancy and diversity of our City.

The Pitt Meadows Day Advisory Committee proposes to meeting monthly, however they will only proceed with meetings as business needs require.

Advisory Design Panel Focus

The Advisory Design Panel provides advice and recommendations on development and design matters, taking into consideration the community's unique character and the City's Official Community Plan. The ADP considers and provides recommendations on other projects or applications as referred by Staff and/or Council and assists the City in the formulation of design policies and criteria including urban design guidelines, as required. 

Board of Variance - CANCELLED

According to the Local Government Act, a municipality that has adopted a zoning bylaw must establish a Board of Variance to allow people to request relief from the provisions of that bylaw. A person may apply to the Board for a minor variance if they feel compliance with the bylaw would cause them hardship. The Board of Variance is a quasi-judicial board consisting of three volunteers from the community appointed by Council.
