FREE Emergency Preparedness Workshop: Rapid Damage Assessment

We’re offering a series of free Neighbourhood Emergency Preparedness Program (NEPP) workshops. These workshops will equip citizens with the necessary information so that they can plan ahead and take care of themselves and their neighbours during a catastrophic event. 

Rapid Damage Assesssment provides training for performing a preliminary assessment of damage in your neighbourhood. Register by emailing emo@pittmeadows.ca or calling 604.460.6713 (late registration accepted).

Advisory Design Panel Focus

The Advisory Design Panel provides advice and recommendations on development and design matters, taking into consideration the community's unique character and the City's Official Community Plan. The ADP considers and provides recommendations on other projects or applications as referred by Staff and/or Council and assists the City in the formulation of design policies and criteria including urban design guidelines, as required. 

For the LOVE of TREES

Drop by City Hall  on September 22 between 10am-4pm for the second-annual For the LOVE of TREES event. Our Green Leadership Team is giving away FREE trees and shrubs to plant for National Tree Day.

As a part of the event, there will be a community planting area in Hoffman Park should residents choose to participate in the City's park restoration project. View the park planting location here.

Light Urban Search & Rescue provides training for locating  the missing and rescuing those trapped and/or injured. Register by emailing emo@pittmeadows.ca or calling 604.460.6713 (late registration accepted).
