Agricultural Advisory Comittee Focus

The Agricultural Advisory Committee advises Council and Staff on matters related to agriculture in the community which may include comprehensive reviews of agriculture-related policies, plans and development proposals using the City of Pitt Meadows  Official Community Plan as a guide. 

Advisory Design Panel Focus

The Advisory Design Panel provides advice and recommendations on development and design matters, taking into consideration the community's unique character and the City's Official Community Plan. The ADP considers and provides recommendations on other projects or applications as referred by Staff and/or Council and assists the City in the formulation of design policies and criteria including urban design guidelines, as required.

Every Child Matters. Recognize National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day by wearing orange this September 30. The City of Pitt Meadows acknowledges this day and will be lighting up City Hall in orange the evening of September 30 in recognition.

The Pitt Meadows Airport Society will be holding it’s Annual General Meeting via ZOOM on Wednesday September 29th, 2021 at 1:00pm.

Drop by City Hall  on September 22 between 10am-4pm for the second-annual For the LOVE of TREES event. Our Green Leadership Team is giving away FREE trees and shrubs to plant for National Tree Day.

As a part of the event, there will be a community planting area in Hoffman Park should residents choose to participate in the City's park restoration project. View the park planting location here.

This free FireSmart Workshop is part of the Neighbourhood Emergency Preparedness Program (NEPP) and introduces homeowners to FireSmart principles which are designed to mitigate a home’s vulnerability to wildfire.

The Active Transportation Advisory Committee advises Council and City Staff on strategic priorities and policies relating to active transportation in Pitt Meadows using the Pedestrian and Cycling Master Plan  as a guide.

Join the ReconciliACTION Walk to raise awareness of the mistreatment at Indian Residential Schools in Canada. We are inviting individuals, communities, schools, organizations  to help achieve our goal:  6509km

To walk one kilometre for every unmarked indigenous child's grave recovered by September 30, 2021.

GOAL: To walk 1km for each unmarked grave recovered to date!

COMMIT to walk 1.2km and 3X week minimum until National Orange Shirt Day & National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (Sept 30)
