Updated April 8, 2024 – The green space, sport courts, and playground at Mitchell Park will be closed temporarily to the public from Tuesday, April 9 to Friday, April 12. The new service road into the playground will be undergoing ground improvements and there will be heavy machinery in the park. One walking trail will remain open through the park. See the map below for the closed area and please note these dates are weather-dependent and subject to change.
As this is an active worksite, park users are reminded to avoid the closed area until the work is complete. Barricades and closure signage have been set up as an extra precaution.
