Gabrielle Strauss - established both as a Fine Art painter and professional
Childrenʼs Entertainer since 1993.
Gabrielle started her formal art training in Vienna. After moving to
Vancouver in 1989 she became involved in various art groups and
began attending workshops with well established Canadian artists,
one of her mentors the late Robert Genn. Her work has been exhibited
in over 50 group and solo exhibitions and has been accepted into
numerous juried shows and received awards.
Gabrielle resides in Walnut Grove in Langley and finds great pleasure
in ʻpainting the townʼ - local scenery, whimsical house and floral portraits
and also abstracts and mixed media paintings. Workshops and individual
lessons on demand.
Gabrielle is an active member of the Federation of Canadian artists,
and a member of the FLAG group. A selection of her work is part of the
rental program at the Surrey Arts Centre, SAGA, and at multiple locations
and art venues in BC.
